It's Moving Time

Instead of getting organized for moving, I'm busy over here procrastinating and making cards about moving. This card uses Stacey's Curtain Call and the What If Wednesday sketch. The Shabby Tea Room has a color/house challenge this week and I chose the house part. Crafty Cardmakers is spotlighting punches. Simons Says Stamp is doing songs and I think this one works well for "I like to Move It, Move It" by Will.I.Am, I assume you get the connection?

Materials: Kathy Martin digital house stamp, PTI sentiment, Stampin Up black ink, Stampin Up Baja Breeze designer paper, Anna Griffin patterned paper, Baja Breeze Stampin Up card stock, Night of Navy Stampin Up card stock, Fiskars tag punch

Lion congrats

I'm not sure what I think of this card... I liked the sketch for What If Wednesdays, but after several attempts with it I decided I'd just glue and move on. I'm sending this card to lovely card making friend who's just had a baby. She's always taught me that no mater how much you dislike the card the person who receives it will always love it. So, Ms. Erica, bonus points for you if you comment on the post, but regardless I'm sending you this card!

Materials: Stampendous Lion stamp, Stampin Up Congrats, Paper Inspirations hands stamp, Midnight Blue Versa color ink, cool paper from my friend Dawn, Stampin Up square scallop punch

Thinking of you/coffee

I've been on such a CAS spree that this card too me a number of tries to get what I felt looked right. I've been meaning to make another card with these very cool coffee cups, since I made this card and hadn't quite figured out how I was going to do it. I tried this card with just brown and that CAS girl in me needed more white. I never would've put the eyelets in the corner if it weren't for the sketch, so it's good, breaks me out of my box. All 'n all it's a bit busy for my current taste, but I love coffee and I think it's good for me to try different things once in awhile. This card is for the What If Wednesday sketch challenge. I'm also going to enter this in Jenny's Wee Memories challenge for punches, b/c I punched the sentiment out with my scallop oval punch.
