Snowflake joy tag cards

So, like any other crafter out there, I found myself aimlessly wandering Ben Franklin this morning (I was actually there to drop off my sample for my next class and purchase a gift card while they were on sale).  But then I bump into 4 different people, 45 minutes go by and somehow I've managed to find an armfull of things I "need" to buy.  One of the other things that happened while there is I ran into a friend who wanted 5 Christmas cards, and only if I had them in my stash.  Well I had the pieces in my stash... does that count?  I took the tags I'd been working on this morning and transformed them into cards.  The top one I embossed onto the vellum for the PTI Make It Monday Challenge.  Simon Says Stamps is having a "Let It Snow" challenge" and CASolgy is having a "snowflake" challenge, so it's a snow happy blog post.

Supplies: Top Card: WPlus9 Defining Words, PTI Tag die, PTI snowflake die, doily, Tattered Angels mist, May Arts sheer tinsel, velvet with satin ribbon and silk ribbon, Cosmo Cricket patterned paper, PTI kraft card stock, vellum, Stampendous white enbossing powder, PTI chevron cover plate, Ranger White mist, corner rounder, White ink

Second Card: PTI tag die, PTI snowflake die, PTI joy die, PTI white and kraft card stock, vellum, stencil, Ranger white mist, glitter tape, Cosmo Cricket patterened paper, May Arts Metallic velvet ribbon, May Arts faux canvas ribbon, May Arts burlap String, May Arts burlap, corner rounder

It definitely counts in my book! Love the subtle backgrounds and the double lettering on the joy card.
