Welcome to another PTI Blog hop, I love playing along every month. This month the theme is pretty in pink and I decided to make another wine tag. I'm teaching a wine tag class in March and am looking for a few options (got to make sure they don't involve too many steps, so not 100% sure this one will make the cut). For this tag I wanted to play along with the PTI Make It Monday challenge of glitter embellishments, but I went a little off course and used glitter embossing powders and created a tag (with two different types of embossing powder).
For this project I've stamped the new Four Square Stamp, PTI tag embossed with glitter, My Favorite Things wine glass die (with a little water color pencil and Glossy Accents), and for the tag I added an extra piece of cardstock embossed with the PTI chevron cover plate and a SRM sticker and then went a little overboard with my May Arts ribbon collection. Who knew a wine tag could have 6 different ribbons! (You wonder why this tag might not make the card class list?). I added four inch burlap to the bottom and then added on top of the burlap a layer of sheer ribbon and then another layer of the velvet crochet ribbon (such the perfect girly touch). For the tag I added a bit of the wider satin pleats and then added silk and burlap string to the top of the vellum tag.
And because I love wine and photography, here's a parting shot of the Rippon vineyard where the bottle of wine above is from taken on our travels last year in New Zealand. Cheers!
