The new PTI Make It Monday challenge is about making cards that look like quilts, so I took the opportunity to make a congrats card for a friend that recently had a baby boy. I used Basic Grey Bowties patterned paper, PTI sentiment, May Arts ribbon tabs and used the video tips of using a PTI cover plate as an impression plate. And like every Monday, I really need to get out the door instead of making cards (seems to be a reoccurring problem over here). For those of you who don't follow me along, I say this every Monday! I've got a great giveaway on my work blog-- and the question is all about balancing life/art/nutrition, happy to mail the prize if you win, love to hear your two cents.

Making cards makes you happy so there is some balance! This is very fun! Bug paper- don't see that much welcoming a baby girl to the world!
This is such a cute baby card, Erin! Love the mix of patterns and the little ribbon tabs below the sentiment! I think it's awesome that you start your Mondays with crafty time!!
Love the gorgeous quilt and the ribbon tabs are the perfect touch.
Adorable, Erin! The papers are perfect for a baby quilt!
The ribbon makes it like a blanket- cute card.
Sweet! I love the addition of the ribbons! : )
