So I saw Wida's card over on the Hero Arts blog the other day and loved it… and it got me thinking about the alphabet sets I had… this week's PTI Make it Monday challenge was to use your cover plates as stencils for emboss resisting and I decided to use the PTI Headline Alphabet dies as my stencils. I used white embossing paste and then added some distress inks to the card stock. For my tags I used DCWV burlap paper, vellum and a smaller Spellbinders die with a faint Hero Arts chevron background stamp and a PTI frame. For my MM letters I stamped the dies in gold ink and tied the whole card together with two colors of May Arts burlap string. Going to give this card to my writer sister since these are her initials.
