Happy Monday crafty friends.  The day has not gone according to plan-- there are wildfires in our county, employees who are evacuated, school closures...  I started the day with one vision of how things were going to do and in the end things went very differently.  Our house and businesses are fine, but my heart aches for so many Californians that lost their homes today or are currently evacuated.  So with that in mind, a delay in the posting of my crafting fun (I think many of you know that I like posting my Monday morning card first thing....).  My first card was going to be for my October card class (which was cancelled in today's craziness), but I got inspiration from the current The Heart Desires Challenge.  My second card combines the Altenew October Challenge with the current CAS(E) this sketch.  And my third card is for the PTI Make It Monday, sentiment window card, I used a piece of PTI paper, PTI sentiment and a Altenew flower.

Greetings friends...  more coffee cards, anyone surprised?  Can't help myself and my slightly obsessive desire to make LOTS of cards/tags for the Coffee Lovers Blog Hop.  This blog post brings the total for this hop up to 39 projects... yes, we can say I have a problem-- it's only Tuesday!  (My slightly crazy goal was 50, which is sounding less crazy at the moment).

This card uses SugarPea Design goodies and the colors from the current The Heart Desires Challenge.  (And yes ~amy~ I'm looking at you with a green card base).

This card... so I'm currently lusting over the Concord & 9th Simon Says set... and while digging for something else for this coffee-centric week of mine, found an old Hero Arts set... funny, I can make cards like the ones I've been seeing online- without buying the set! (I'm still not committing to not purchasing it, but...).  But I thought it'd be fun to make a all Hero Arts stamps card...  three different sets.

This card is for the current MFT Color Challenge, the sentiment is from Neat and Tangled, but everything else is MFT.

And even though I'm on the design team for Tag You're It, I found inspiration from the new challenge to play along.  The background of the tag uses the technique of inking an embossing plate (this one is from Papertrey Ink).

And finally a little Verve stamp love on this super simple one layer card.

Happy Saturday!  I'm up on the Coffee Lovers Blog today with this birthday coffee card in honor of ms ~amy~.  Little Tangles is also having a birthday theme on their challenge blog this month, so I'm going to add this card to that.  The projects below were inspired by this month's The Heart Desires Blog, I took some photos last night at the campground of this fabulous new Shasta that has fake flamingos, so I went searching through my camper stash to see if I had any... and this Stampin Up set delivered.  I'll hopefully show more camper photos on Instagram later, but here's the back of the trailer.

Greetings, I'm back for another card for my guest designer spot with The Heart Desires.  The inspiration this month has all sorts of beautiful colors, so while I'd love to go to the beach, all I can think about is that campground that I own....  So with the colors in mind I used the Flora and Fauna sets to create another card to help inspire you to play along.

Hello!  I'm super excited to say that I'm the guest designer this month for The Heart Desires, thanks guys for inviting me to play along.  The new challenge has a bunch of fabulous bright colors and I decided to play along with some of them, but not all (something that's challenging for me, as a literal girl).  Fun to pull out some of my Concord & 9th goodies.  And did you see The Heart Desires is having a sale?  Happy first anniversary!  Today is my birthday and I'm thinking, should I channel my work out buddy who celebrates the anniversary of his 21st birthday?  I'd love to see how the challenge inspires you.

Happy Monday!  Oh coffee fun....mixing it up a bit with a cold mate drink, in honor of The Heart Desires challenge.  My second card uses my love of white (or off white) on white and my small addiction with an afternoon coffee and a cookie...  and the final tag is for this week's PTI Make It Monday, to make a wreath... so why not use a bunch of different little stamps to make a coffee wreath?  Because I love ~amy~ and her Coffee Lovers Blog Hop!

Given enough caffeine I could rule the world... truth of the day!  Laughing.  Inspired by the new The Heart Desires Challenge, I love map paper and b/c of the recent PTI pre-anniversary sale I got to restock this pad of paper from their Traveler's Journal series.  I used the Reverse Confetti die, Verve sentiment, MFT stitched die and a Papertrey Ink coffee cup.  I think the coffee splatter is from Verve...  hard to keep track of my stash (especially when I don't put things away and they float in the abyss known as my craft desk).  Wishing everyone a fabulous day, I started my day by trying yoga for the first time in ages.... amazing what we can do!

Inspired by The Heart Desires challenge, the colors (of which I used some, but not all...forgive me for my loose interpretation on the challenge).  Couldn't find the elephant stamps (they're in there somewhere)....  I used Altenew stamps, MFT die and I used distress inks, water and watercolors on an upcycled letterpress wedding invite (the joys of getting the clean out from the local high end letterpress company!).

Last night I taught my monthly card class (the most fabulous group of ladies ranging in age from 7-70).  The red love (using all sorts of new MFT Blueprint dies) was part of one of my cards, but I decided to redo the card this morning to play along with the MFT Sketch Challenge.  I created a stencil with the sentiments and used embossing paste for the background.  

This tag was inspired by the new Fusion challenge.  Concord & 9th mug and Hero Arts trees and sentiment with a Reverse Confetti tag.

And this CAS coffee card was inspired by the new The Heart Desires inspirational challenge.  Altenew coffee mugs and Waltzingmouse sentiment, MFT stitched die and gold washi tape.
