Hello.... playing along with the photo challenge on Time Out Challenges.  I combined the PTI sets with a MFT background die and sentiment die.  Busy day... powering through my to dos over here.

Happy Birthday

The Time Out Challenge is having their 4th birthday so I made a CAS card with 4 balloons!  I combined a Concord & 9th sentiment with the Lil Inker balloon and stitch dies.

little stories

The current Time Out Challenge is about hobbies-- so I inked up this Pink Fresh camera stamp I had and somehow managed to make a one layer card (it was hard!).  I use Instagram for my motel and campground's visual storytelling, so I love the idea of a sentiment that says "little stories."

3 sketches

Happy Saturday!  I got back in my craft room this morning after a few days away.  So I got inspired from some challenges.  The first card is for the My Favorite Things Sketch, still playing with felt hearts.  My second card is for the Fusion Card Challenge and the third card was inspired by the CAS(E) this Sketch!  My second card uses a new to me Simon Says Stamp set (it's a holiday set), so I'm entering it in the Simon Says "Something New" challenge.  And because Time Out Challenge theme is "Thankful" I'm going to add the final card.

happiness is you by my side

Playing along again with the Viva la Verve Sketch, funny that I can make all those layers work for my CAS brain.  And my second card is for the current Time Out Challenge, "New Beginnings".  It's hard to tell, but I used the Lil Inker woodgrain die over the patterned paper, so it's got a bit of extra texture to it.

Enough coffee....

Greetings coffee lovers!  I'm up on the Coffee Lovers Blog today with this colorful coffee card (inspired by the current Time Out Challenge) to send to a friend who recently had a baby.

sending hugs

Sending hugs... I was inspired by Karen's card and decided to play along with the Altenew January challenge with the current Time Out Challenge as another point of inspiration.  One of my friends was recently diagnosed with breast cancer, so I'm going to send her this card.  The card below is my second attempt at the current PTI Make It Monday to make a spinner card, must admit I don't love it... but I'm going to post it anyway.

you are in my thoughts...

Sometimes my cards are channeling my inner self help guru, sometimes they're work trains of thoughts coming out in artistic means, sometimes I follow a thread with a challenge and see where it ends up.  Today, these three cards are all for the Ellen Hutson Mix It Up Challenge, to use one of her stamps and an Avery Elle stamp.  It was a great chance to pull out my limited collection of their respective stamps.  The first card also works for the current Time Out Challenge (Winter, with an extra challenge of white on white). *Edited, I just realized that I didn't use any Ellen Hutson stamps on the first card, oops, my bad.  My next challenge is to send this to my friend who lives in Alaska.  The second card... you know I am not an animal person, so I'm rarely drawn to the cute animal stamps... but nice to do something a little different and personally I love all this open white space.  And my third card is the opposite, trying to use more colored card stock... and since ~amy~ wondered where the coffee card was yesterday....  why not mix and match up sentiments from the two companies?

you brighten my day and more!

More coffee fun....  Using lots of challenges for more inspiration for the Fall Coffee Lovers Blog Hop.  The first card is for the Ellen Hutson Pin Inspired Challenge.  I used WPlus script, Altenew coffee goodies and an Ellen Hutson sentiment.  The second card is for CASology frame challenge.  I used a Hero Arts cup, Clear and Simple sentiment and Lawn Fawn leaf and Lil Inker stitched frame dies.  And my final card was inspired by the Time Out photo inspiration, using Lil Inker stamps coffee dies, Spellbinders, PTI dies, Impression Obsession leaves stamps and May Arts ribbon.

friends like you don't grow on trees and #psl

Happy Saturday!  I pulled out these stamps (above) for my monthly card making class this week (we made a tag), but with the current Time Out Challenge I thought I'd ink 'em up again before I put them away (Unity tree and PTI sentiment).  And the card blow is based on the current MFT Sketch Challenge, it's a combination of goodies, Clear and Simple sentiment, PTI pumpkin, Impression Obsessions background, MFT coffee die, Lawn Fawn leaf die, Lil Inker stitched frame... and the end all, it's way too busy for me.  I'd love to go back and remake the card with white on white... but another day...

thanks for believing in me and more

Happy Thursday crafty friends... the top card truly says so much about my current in real life world, thanks to all the folks out there that believe in us and our project to build a campground.  My card below is what a gave my husband for our wedding anniversary yesterday, the dogwoods always remind me of our wedding (as we got married in my mom's yard and she has several beautiful dogwood trees).

And my final crafty share was inspired by the new Time Out Challenge to CASE Kay's beautiful card, I made a little gift card holder...

thank you tag

Tracey is the muse over at Time Out Challenge and thanks to Lynn's card I decided to play along.  Who's surprised I made a tag?  I used a Hero Arts flower, PTI sentiment, May Arts ribbon and MFT tag die.  My watercolors have a bit of sparkle to them, which show in the right light behind the vellum flower.  This morning I realized that I had to address the lack of workable space on my craft desk, occassionaly I reach that point (my tolerance is way higher then most).

So for those of you who wanted proof that there is a desk under the piles...

coffee, leaves and celebrate cards

So ~amy~ is on a coffee theme this whole week, and I seem to make enough coffee cards to be able to last a whole week… so this is yesterday's card inspired by Alice's card on the coffee hop.  Great ideas start with coffee….  Below is a fall one layer card I made for last night's card class, which works well for the current Time Out Challenge "Stamping" (sorry no apples).

And lastly a card inspired by the Muse Club challenge b/c I finally broke down and ordered some Altenew stamps….

happy, you make me smile!

Donna's card over at Time Out Challenge was calling my name, something about the bright colors with the gold?  And thanks to Lynn and Tracey playing along, I remembered…. the thing about all these great ideas, you sometimes need reminders.  I used the PTI Make It Monday technique "water color splats" and then cover the whole thing in translucent embossing paste with the hexagon pattern, it's a bit hard to see in this photo, but believe me.  I heat embossed a Um Wow Studio butterfly, used the PTI gold foil with the Wet Paint die and added a SRM sticker to the bottom.
