Friend, card #2

Okay, here's the second card... fairly easy to connect the dots from the previous card. It's another take on the Everything But the Kitchen Sink Sketch. It also uses words so I'll enter it in the Res Q "medical report" challenge and it also has black and white, plus one color for the Corrosive Challenge. Crazy 4 Challenges is having a paper flower challenge and I'm going to enter it too, even though my flower is only one layer. That CAS girl in me has a hard time with too many layers.

Materials: White card stock, black paper, vellum, Hero Arts Digital Friends sentiment, Two Peas in a Bucket freebie daisy, Fiskars circle cutter

I made three cards while playing around with the same elements. One can connect the dots between the cards, it might be a bit harder to follow my logic. This card is for the Everything But The Kitchen Sink sketch challenge. It also uses black & white plus one color, which works for the Corrosive Challenge. The Res Q challenge has a "medical report" challenge, which means using words.

Materials: Black and white card stock, vellum, Hero Arts digital Friends image, Fiskars Circle Cutter, Two Peas in A Bucket Free digital kit with daisy (and now I can't seem to figure out which one it is, I've looked... eek).

Black and Pink Big Blossoms card

I'm really enjoying my new set of Waltzingmouse stamps. This card uses the Mojo Monday sketch. I used felt for the tab, which qualifies the card for one of this week's Res Q challenges. I love how these challenges make me go digging in my craft supplies for things I wouldn't normally use. The use of flower qualifies it for this week's Practical Scrappers Challenge & Aly's Sunday Challenge. The black and white and pink qualifies it for the Corrosive Challenge of B & W and one color and The Pink Elephant's Pink & Black challenge.

Materials: Waltzingmouse Big Blossoms stamps, black paper, Stampin Up Black ink, pink ink, pink felt tab

Thanks

A one layered card with a flourish for Susan's Simplicity One Layer Wednesday challenge. Because there's a large letter the card also works for the Res Q Eye Chart challenge. And because the T is embossed I'll enter it in the Caardvarks & Flourishes embossing challenge.

Materials: Stampin Up stamp, Embossing gel pens red & black, clear embossing powder

3 Cowboy boots

I love the CAS look to this card. I've used pop up dots to raise the cowboy boots, so it's not totally flat (hard to tell in this photo). This is another card celebrating my girlfriend's cancer free status (see previous post). It also applies for the 365 Cards & Res Q Challenge of three in a row.
