I like Your Style

Moxie Fab World is celebrating card styles this week and I am a Clean and Graphic kinda girl. I'm pretty confident that this card fits the bill... and I'm chuckling at style reference (it was an accident, but now I realize it's "moxie fab" as Cath would say). I've used red/white and blue for the City Crafter Challenge, and the London theme is that folks are far more fashionable in London. Aly's Sunday Challenge is red/white and blue.

Summer Fun

This CAS card is for the City Crafter Challenge of "Some Like it Hot" and use red. I got the cute summer fun digital image off the Unscripted Sketches website and then colored in the flowers with a versamark pen and red ink (one day I'll get some Copic markers, but for now I have to be creative). The background stamp is off the super cute Stampin Up dress form set I've been using. Which ties this card together for the 365 Cards challenge that I'm the guest designer for-- use one digital and one stamped image. Aly's Sunday Challenge is to use red or white or blue. Creative Craft Challenges is celebrating summer fun.

Celebrate the day- red birthday cakes card

My card train of thoughts run in so many different directions. I pulled out some red card stock to try to come up with a card for the City Crafter Challenge and then was looking at various sketch challenges and before I know it I'm making a birthday card. Oh well, I've got a number of July birthdays to celebrate. (What I need to do is stop spending so much time making cards and perhaps just send a few!). This sketch is from Limelight Papercrafts. Their challenge is also to use background stamps. I used versamark for a large Hero Arts Happy Birthday stamp (which didn't ink out perfectly, hence the need to add a few more layers of paper). And I had to laugh when I looked at the photo and realized that my polka dot Stampin Up patterned paper is crooked. Aly's Sunday Challenge is to use red or white or blue, so I've chosen red.

Materials: Hero Arts Happy Birthday stamp, Stampin Up birthday cake stamp, Hero Arts clear stamps sentiment, Stampin Up Red Riding Hood card stock, Stampin Up designer paper, white card stock, Making Memories black eyelet, Versamark, red chalk, Stampin Up black ink, Fiskars rotary scallop cutter, Stampin Up square scallop punch

Black, white, red thank you

An elegant thank you card using the Taylored Expressions sketch. I am so impressed by all the comments I got on my other 3 flowers card from the Speedy Cat challenge, that I'm going to enter this one in the Mark's Finest Papers challenge (the 3 flowers are kinda hiding, but they're there). Aly's Sunday Challenge is to use flowers. Crafty Creations wants to the cards to "shine" and this black and white paper has got sparkly glitter and looks amazing in the light. Corrosive Challenge is celebrating flowers. Character Cafe is challenges us to use vellum.

Black and Pink Big Blossoms card

I'm really enjoying my new set of Waltzingmouse stamps. This card uses the Mojo Monday sketch. I used felt for the tab, which qualifies the card for one of this week's Res Q challenges. I love how these challenges make me go digging in my craft supplies for things I wouldn't normally use. The use of flower qualifies it for this week's Practical Scrappers Challenge & Aly's Sunday Challenge. The black and white and pink qualifies it for the Corrosive Challenge of B & W and one color and The Pink Elephant's Pink & Black challenge.
