Christmas and coffee tags

Waltzingmouse Stamps just did their November SOAP and they've got a challenge to CASE one of the DT's projects.  I was inspired by Jennifer's tags, loved the look of the embossed white on green.  I opted for a white embossed label and then clear embossed the WMS Frame It tree.   And since Wee Memories is having a "Handmade Gifts, Tags and boxes" challenge this week this works perfectly.   Just Add Ink is having a "bookmarks or tags" challenge this week too.

And since my craft desk is a total mess, I had these fun pieces on the desk, which I had other projects in mind, but this morning they decided they wanted to be gift tags.  And because I've got both the cup handles and the banner off the edge, I'm going to enter them in the CAS-ual Friday "Off the Edge" challenge.  

And last, but not least... my little helper is at it again.  I love that he also took his pick of the items on my desk and made a mini bookmark with another tassel.  (Click here to see last week's bookmark).

So yesterday I posted 2 cute little tags and obviously I had them on my mind because I sat down last night and made 5 more.  And being the challenge happy girl that I am a few of them work for a few challenges.

This tag uses some more of the burlap I got from the local coffee shop, so I'll add it to the Lily Pad Cards texture challenge.

This one uses the Hero Arts "Write Your Own Cling" so it'll work for the HA month long holiday wrap/tag challenge.

This one will work for Just Add Ink's "Tag or Bookmark Challenge".

This one uses the Waltzingmouse Sketch Challenge.

This one uses the WPlus9 set I won last month and since it's only one layer I'm going to enter it in the "One Layer Wednesday" tag challenge.  And since the Ribbon Carousel is having an anything goes challenge any of these tags would work with their May Arts burlap string.

Calling All Couches

Here comes the invasion of the couches! I dedicate this post to my blogging pal Jen, who keeps threatening to buy this PTI set, here you go Jen, you can do it. Here's the direct link (yes I am evil, but wait you also need the On My Couch Additions, click here).

I made this card the other night for the ColourQ challenge and I liked it so much that I wanted to make some more cards. (It helps that my husband went out of his way to mention that he liked the other card too, always nice to hear that.) So I thought I'd try a few color challenges with the same card.

This card is for Susan's Simplicity One Layer Wednesday Challenge, the theme was "make a scene". Don't mind the finger prints on this one, they can't all be perfect right?

This one is for The Play Date Cafe. I used the same piece of paper for another card for them this week, so I figured I'd just use my scraps for the couch card.

This one is for Stacey's Curtain Call challenge.

And finally this one is for Just Add Ink. Now I think it's time to go sit on the couch and put my feet up.

for the Little One

I've used the Just Add Ink colors for this CAS card using Kathy Martin's digital clothesline image. I went digging through my stash of paper and found several sheets of the Rubber Soul Hoop La set that worked well for these colors. Jenny's Wee Memories challenge this week is butterflies and I love that there's a little butterfly on the bib.

2 takes on the same sketch

This sketch is from Just Add Ink and I thought it would be fun to take the large Big Bloom from the Waltzingmouse Stamps set and punch it into four little squares. Then I thought, perhaps I'd try it the opposite way (i.e. white ink on red paper) and kept it a bit cleaner. I like the thanks card better, but it was a fun experiment.

This card uses the Everything But the Kitchen Sink sketch. With some help, I've embossed the flowers and the sentiment for the Just Add Ink embossing challenge. Kah-Wink-E -Dink is celebrating In the Garden this week.

Just Add Ink Dress Form birthday card

I borrowed this Stampin Up dress form stamp from my card making girlfriend and have been meaning to use it again (click here and here for the other two cards I made with it) before I have to return it. I saw the Just Add Ink colors and thought that would be a great color combination for these lovely dresses. And then I added the sentiment this time and I know just who to send this card too, I'm so organized- her birthday isn't for another 3 weeks! Just Add Ink ladies, thank you so much for all your lovely comments on my previous cards for your challenges. I also love the Australian slang on your blog- I saw the "just have a squiz" comment and knew you guys had to be somewhere down here in the southern hemisphere. That was one Kiwi slang that someone had to explain to me. Now that I look at the colors on this computer I'm thinking I should've used a more off white... please forgive the fact that the smaller computer showed the color as more of a white. Caardvarks is celebrating birthdays this month.

Flower thanks

Just Add Ink has this beautiful sketch this week and I thought the W Plus 9 flower was a great option. I've been trying to come up with a card that I could duplicate and make as thank you presents for my son's preschool and I think I've found my card.

Egg Beater Card

I had out my Cosmo Cricket "Early Riser" papers and I just had to keep playing. I can't believe I've had the set for an entire year and I still have a bunch left. The paper hoarder in me is letting go and getting creative. This card uses the Card Patterns sketch. Please note lovely Card Patterns ladies that I've had my eye on those stamps you're giving away this week. Would love that couch stamp! Since I'm using more patterned paper, I'll add this card to the Just Add Ink challenge. Digi Doodle's Shop is having an "anything goes challenge.

Apron Card

So many challenges...It all started with Just Us Girls template challenge. I've never made an apron card before, so I thought now seemed like a good time? Simon Says Stamp Challenge is celebrating friends. KAH-Wink-E-Dink is having a free for all challenge. Just Add Ink is celebrating patterned paper, and my oh my is this collection of Cosmo Cricket paper fun! (Although I've just read their fine print and realized they don't like cards that are in more then 3 challenges, so oh well... I still like the card, this can be a bonus- just for viewing entry). Bunny Zoe's is celebrating "nice and girly" and for a non-pink kinda girl, I'd say this is about as nice and girly as I'll get.
