Two cards, both inspired by the latest CAS(E) this sketch, one using the banners and the other using the flowers idea. My second card uses some long neglected Unity stamps so I'm going to play along with Friends with Flair. Hope everyone had a great Fourth of July, I went to an outdoor concert last night and a parade today.

Friday Cards, congrats times 4
Grab a cup of coffee, I finally got the time to finish up a card order that's been on the to do list, so I've got a few cards to share.
The first one uses this week's Play Date Cafe colors, some fun Lawn Fawn paper and background stamp, LYB paper, Paper Smooches sentiment and some May Arts twisted burlap.
Next up I've got a card inspired by this week's MUSE Challenge. I've used some gelatos, PTI tag and sentiment and some May Arts faux canvas ribbon.
This card (which I think is my favorite of the 4), is for this week's PTI Make It Monday (embossed colored vellum flowers). I've used the PTI In Bloom flower and Thing Big sentiment, Cuttlebug embossing folder, doily and 3 different May Arts ribbons (satin pleats, leaves and faux canvas).

Friends with Flair baby card
TGIF! I've got a CAS card today to share, my friend Georgette (the fabulous photographer behind my profile photo) needed a personalized gift certificate for a baby shower so she asked me to make up a card. I used two Unity stamps so I could play along with the Friends with Flair and printed the gift certificate on the inside. Hope everyone has a great weekend.

Challenge Happy Friday projects
hello, my friend.. I have a few goodies to share.
First up, a CAS card for Friends With Flair using this week's Play Date Cafe colors and perfect for the Moxie Fab World Stamp It "Hello" challenge.
Next we've got a wine label (surprise, surprise) and matching card. I swear these goodies just sell themselves :) In my work blog project for a local tasting room the tasting room manager commissioned a set for an upcoming wedding. I've still got to make the coordinating wine glass tags. I used this week's Paper Smooches SPARKS challenge as the jumping off point. If you look closely at the background on the card I heat embossed the Unity burlap background, which really looks like a shopping cart. I want to play along with Kim Kesti's new and old challenge (fabulous prize!) and the card above is perfect, I won the Unity bit of burlap from the PDC/CASE Study giveaway in Feb 2011 and the Paper Smooches sentiment I bought as splurge the other week while wandering around my local Ben Franklin.
And one last card... I used this week's Moxie Fab World Tuesday Trigger and stamped PTI Rosie Posie directly on to Basic Gray White Pad for this week's PTI Make It Monday Challenge. And since it's all stamped it also works for the Moxie Fab World Stamp It Thank You challenge. And if you missed yesterday's post there's a fun giveaway!!! TGIF.

hello happy camper
Hello happy camper! My boys are back! They've just spent the last 3 weeks on a road trip with our vintage camping trailer and they're finally home, I missed them so! When I saw this week's One Layer Wednesday challenge "In the Kitchen" I knew exactly what I should use, my fun happy camper coffee mug. (You can see some photos of the mug in use in a guest blog post I wrote here). Because my Unity trailer was the perfect fit I'm going to play along with Friends with Flair. TGIF!
Materials: Unity Destination Happy trailer, Unity KOTM sentiment, Tim Holtz distress ink lemonade and mustard seed, Versafine black ink, water color pencils, Glossy Accents, Martha Stewart score pal, PTI white card stock

fabulous is who you are
TGIF! This card is a re-do of this card and I love how I've replaced the glitter with two layers of ribbon and really cleaned up the card (another good options for the 365 Cards "Looks Familiar" challenge). It's been forever since I played along with Friends with Flair, but super excited to play along today. I really need to find a better organizational system for my Unity stamps, one of these days I'll put some of my ideas into action instead of having them floating around in a drawer. And just a reminder for those who missed my two give aways this week, click here for the kick off party on my new Artful Delight DT and click here for my work blog post on a local handmade artisan boutique, I'm giving away a beautiful necklace.
Materials: Unity Life is Fabulous sentiment, Cosmo Cricket patterned paper, Spellbinders Nestabilities Label one and eight, May Arts ribbon, Tim Holtz distress stain antique linen, Smooch red spritz, PTI rustic cream card stock, Versafine black ink

Friday's projects
TGIF! So I've got if you follow my blog along you'll see that I've been busy making gift boxes for my sister's upcoming wedding. Last night I got smart and recruited help-- thanks to my helpers we made another 12 done. So, with today's share I've got another 51 to go. So why not make some cards, right? Gotta keep the creative juices flowing somehow?
Since it's pouring rain in California, let's have a fun springy birthday card! I've used all Unity stamps so I could play along with Friends with Flair. This week's CAS-ual Fridays challenge is "a pattern, an image and a sentiment".
Here's the latest box... As in the card above I was thrilled to read Amber's tutorial on how to make do without the new PTI dies... amazing when you learn new tricks with tools you already have. I have used Emily's multi-loop bow challenge on Do More with Less.
And last, but not least (especially since I've off to get working on my boxes and stop procrastinating over here), I've got a little thank you card inspired by the Runway Inspired photo above.
Materials: Unity stamps, SRM sticker, May Arts ribbon, My Mind's Eye bling, Tim Holtz Distress inks mustard seed and shabby shutters and antique linen, PTI Mat Stack 5 die, PTI cream card stock
Box: Skipping Stones Grunge background stamp, Impress Stamps pine cone, PTI kraft card stock, PTI Mat Stack 5 dies, PTI double sided banner die, Twinery cappuccino twine, Tim Holtz Antique linen Distress inks, Versamark

Big Brother
Some friends just had a baby boy (click here for their congrats card) and I am off to the post office to send their older son some fun fire engine toys that our boys have out grown. I figured the new big brother would probably like a card to go in his package. I've used the brother stamp from the Unity April 2011 KOTM "small things Matter Most" so I can play along with the Friends with Flair crew. Patterned paper is not my normal go-to agenda, so I tried to channel Rose for her guest blogger challenge over at Do More with Less. There's still time to play along with the 365 Cards crew this week, I've offered up a pretty fun prize, for one random player, pick any challenge Sunday-Saturday and play along. Winner will be announced on Tuesday.
Materials: Unity Sentiment April 2011 KOTM, PTI edgers die, PTI alphabet die, Twinery twine, Versafine black ink, Stampendous clear embossing powder, PTI white card stock, Three Bugs in a Rug To the Rescue patterned paper

House Congrats wine label
Another wine label for you this evening. I'm running out the door, but this label is a challenge happy project. I've used the Moxie Fab Tuesday Trigger as my source of inspiration, the 365 Cards Super Sketchy Sunday sketch, Unity stamp so I could play along with my neglected Friends with Flair crew and finally Rose's fabulous guest blogger challenge over at Do More With Less (use at least 3 types of patterned paper). Thanks for looking...

TGIF Wine Labels
As some of you've seen, my card blog has been taken over by wine labels. Well today I've got 3 more to share and I'm happy to report that I mailed off all 12 of them, woo hoo! Custom order complete. I'll share the rest of them soon. The top label was my attempt to CASE this one, but it morphed into its own label. I added some scallops for the CAS-ual Fridays "scallops" challenge.
This label uses the Unity Sketch Challenge and Lucy's Cards Inspiration Day #2. And since it's Friday, I'm going to play along with the Friends With Flair crew over at Unity.
This last one was inspired by the fabulous Hero Arts hop this week, talk about talent! I used the new HA newspaper Tullips (embossed on vellum) over some fabulous Hero Arts patterned card stock. I used the January challenge colors for their challenge.
Materials: to be added later, must feed hungry children

Butterfly Bag, tag and snowflake card
It's Friday, so why not play along with the Friends with Flair crew over at Unity. I've decorated a kraft bag, for a white elephant party I'm going to tonight for the Unity Challenge "Gift Wrapping" and the CAS-ual Friday "Brown Paper Packages tied with String" challenge.
Next up I made a cute little tag based on the Moxie Fab World Tuesday Trigger. I used the same HA stamp I used on yesterday's card set, just added a bit of color.
And the last card is based on The Craft's Meow sketch. The snowflake in the sketch got incorprated in a different location, be proud literal girl over here is breaking out!
Thanks for looking, wishing you all a fabulous New Year's.

Friends with Flair wine label
I haven't had the chance to play along with Unity's Friends with Flair in awhile, so I thought I'd add this CAS wine label I made, partially motivated by the fun Graphic 45 and May Arts blog hops (the butterfly is Graphic 45 and the fabulous May Arts natural string). I have a bunch of other things to share, as I'm about to send off my big order, but I'll post it later in the day. Now can any of you guess what kind of wine is behind the fabulous label? The only hint is that I can walk to their tasting room from my house. If you have every sneaked a peak on my work blog you could probably figure it out....
Materials: Unity Life is Fabulous kit butterfly, PTI Limitless Layers dies 1 3/4th and 2 1/2inch, PTI edgers die, PTI kraft card stock, Graphic 45 Once Upon a Springtime Collection, Sierra Pacific Crafts Signature Suite paper, May Arts natural string, Versafine black ink

Happy Thanksgiving
Happy Thanksgiving! I hope you all had a fabulous day celebrating family, health and food. I was lucky to have a very relaxed day, no travel, no visitors, no cooking and thankfully no phone calls from work. A walk in the rain, some quality time with family and a big ol plate of delicious food, what more can a gal ask for? Yesterday I made the wine label on the left, so I thought I'd bring that bottle of red with a complimenting bottle of white from the same New Zealand winery, so I whipped up another fun wine label.
I actually made this card before the wine label, and since the DH liked the sentiment so much I used it again for his wine tag. This card uses the Coredinations November color challenge. And since I've die cut all the leaves I'll also enter it in the Young Crafters Unite die cut challenge. And since I've used all Unity stamps, I'm finally going to play along with another Friends With Flair.
